5G
5G is the fifth generation of cellular technology, offering faster speeds, lower latency, and greater bandwidth. It’s transforming global internet connectivity and enabling the next phase of the Internet of Things (IoT). With 5G’s wider bandwidth and efficient spectrum use, billions of IoT devices can operate simultaneously without interference.
How Fast Is 5G?
5G networks can deliver peak download speeds of 20 Gbps and upload speeds of 10 Gbps, with average speeds around 100 Mbps for downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads. In comparison, 4G LTE offers a maximum theoretical download speed of 150 Mbps and upload speed of 50 Mbps, with average speeds of 20 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.
WIFI Calling
No signal? No problem. With Wi-Fi Calling, you can make and receive calls and texts anywhere—whether at home, in the shops, or even at the water park—using Wi-Fi when mobile coverage is weak. Plus, 5G Wi-Fi Calling ensures even clearer calls for a better experience.
VoLTE
VoLTE (Voice over LTE) lets you make calls over a 4G network instead of 2G or 3G. This means your phone stays on 4G during calls, so you can keep using data at faster speeds without your internet slowing down.
Roam like home

How do I activate my Popit Sim card?
Insert your Popit SIM into your device. Select activate from the menu above. Input the last 10 numbers from your Sim card or eSim and press activate. You’ll receive an Text with confirmation of activation and your ready to go!
Can I keep my existing number?
Yes, you can keep your number! Request a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from your current provider by Texting PAC to 65075. Login to My Popit, Select My Sims and Packages. Select your Popit Number. Click Show/Change. Select Move your Number to Popit. Input your PAC Code and your number in +44 format you wish to bring to Popit. Click Send PAC Port in. We’ll handle the rest.
Adding more data is simple! Log into your My Popit on our website or app, select My Sims, select Show/Change against the number you wish to add data. Scroll down to the bottom and select one of the Data Bolt ons. Its that easy!
How will I know if my SIM is active?
Once your SIM is active, you’ll receive a confirmation Text, and your device will connect to our network. If you experience issues, restart your phone to refresh the connection.
Payment frequency: How does it work?
Our plans are flexible and run on a 30-day rolling basis. Payments are made monthly, and you can cancel, pause, or adjust your plan whenever needed.
